Collection: 22" Carbide-Tipped Saw Blades for Aluminum

8 products

True 22-inch carbide-tipped saw blades for cutting aluminum and other non-ferrous metal — extrusion, profile, plate, and solid bar, plus copper, brass, and rigid plastics. A 22" blade measures 558.8mm. We stock tooth counts from 60 up to 150, in TCG and California Triple Chip (CTC) grinds, on a standard 1" bore that we modify in-house to whatever your saw takes — usually within 24 to 48 hours, with a same-day or next-day RUSH option depending on order time.

Pick your tooth count

Match teeth to the cut:

Tooth count Best for Finish
60–72T Thick wall, solid bar, and billet — large gullets clear chips Coarser, fast feed
96–120T General extrusion and profile Smooth
150T Thin-wall profile and trim Finest

Hook angle shifts with the work too: negative (-5°) for thin and soft material, neutral (0°) for fine finishing, and positive (+5°) on the heavier CTC blades for a faster feed through solid stock.

Bore and machine fit

The 1" bore is standard on US imperial machines. Because we modify the bore in-house, these run on most production, upcut, and chop saws built for a 22" (558.8mm) non-ferrous blade — we just cut the bore and any drive pins to match your spindle. Machines we supply 22" aluminum blades for include:

  • MetlSaw — CS and NF series production saws (1-1/2" bore, 9/16" drive pin)
  • Behringer Eisele — VA-L 560 NC3 automatic aluminum circular saw (40mm bore, 4/12/64 pins)

Don't see your machine? It very likely still fits. Send us your saw's make and model, or the bore and pin spec off your current blade, and we'll confirm the fit and modify the bore to match. Call (855) 729-7732.

22 inch or 550mm? How to tell

A true 22" blade is 558.8mm and a 550mm blade is 21.65", so the two read almost the same on a tape — don't order off the tape alone. Go by your machine, or by the diameter marked on your current blade. The bore narrows it but isn't foolproof: a 1" bore is a true 22", and a 30mm or 32mm bore is usually a 550mm. Some sizes share a bore, though — a true 22" on a Behringer Eisele VA-L 560 runs a 40mm bore, the same as some 550mm blades. When you're not sure, tell us your saw's make and model and we'll confirm. The 550mm line is here.
