22-inch carbide-tipped blade for cutting aluminum and other non-ferrous metal, built to fit MetlSaw production saws. This industrial blade has 72 teeth with a triple chip grind (TCG), 0° hook angle, on a 1-1/2" bore with a drive-pin pattern (one 9/16" pin on a 6" circle). This quality industrial saw blade is made for heavy production cuts on thick-wall extrusion and solid non-ferrous stock.
The 72-tooth count is a half-step up from a 60, so it leaves a cleaner edge while still keeping enough gullet to clear chips in heavier material. The 0° neutral hook runs a touch freer than a negative rake but stays controlled, which suits the steady, high-feed work these production saws are built for. The triple-chip grind shears each cut in two stages, so it holds a clean edge and outlasts a flat-top tooth on non-ferrous work.
MetlSaw has built precision plate and extrusion saws for high-volume metal service centers and extruders since 1975. The 1-1/2" bore and drive-pin layout on this blade match their spindle, so it drops straight onto the machine.
This blade is sized for the MetlSaw spindle as listed. If you need a different bore or pin pattern, we modify in-house, usually within 24 to 48 hours. Need it sooner? What it cuts
Aluminum extrusion, profile, and plate, plus copper, brass, and rigid plastics. For the best finish and the longest blade life, run a wax stick or a light mist — it pulls heat off the tips and keeps aluminum from welding to the carbide.
