CSS 2000 is a semi-synthetic sawing fluid concentrate made for cold saws and metal cutting saws running flood coolant. Mixed with water, it lubricates the cut, pulls heat away from the teeth, and flushes chips out of the gullets. The result is longer HSS cold saw blade life, cleaner cuts, and less wear on your machine. Sold in 5 gallon pails.

Why Coolant Matters on an HSS Cold Saw Blade
An HSS cold saw blade cuts by forming a chip, and heat at the tooth tip is what wears that edge down fastest. The right sawing fluid at the right concentration keeps edge temperature down, helps each tooth bite into the material instead of rubbing, and clears chips before they get recut. That means more cuts between sharpenings and more total life out of every M2 and M35 cobalt blade you run.
Built for the Shop Floor
CSS 2000 is chlorine-free, sulfur-free and contains no petroleum oils, so it is easier on operators and on your machine. The non-foaming formula stays put in the sump at full flow, and its long sump life means fewer coolant changes and less downtime. Use it on carbon steel, stainless, tool steel, aluminum, brass, copper and most other metals. Do not use on magnesium.

Mix with water at the concentration shown on the pail label. Always add concentrate to water, not water to concentrate. Check your mix regularly with a refractometer and top off the sump with premixed fluid to hold concentration steady.
Frequently Asked Questions
What machines can I use CSS 2000 in?
Cold saws and other metal cutting saws that run a flood coolant system.
What metals can I cut with it?
Carbon steel, stainless, tool steel, aluminum, brass, copper and most other metals. Do not use it on magnesium.
Does it contain chlorine, sulfur or petroleum oil?
No. CSS 2000 contains no chlorine, sulfur, silicon, petroleum oils or sulfonates.
Will it foam in my sump?
No. The formula is non-foaming.
What sizes are available?
CSS 2000 is sold in 5 gallon pails only.
Will coolant really make my blades last longer?
Yes. Running a proper sawing fluid keeps tooth temperature down and chips moving, which is one of the biggest factors in HSS blade life. When your blades do get dull, send them in for factory sharpening with 24 hour turnaround.
