At Cold Saw Shop, our standard blades are HSS M2 DMo5, also known as DIN 1.3343. This is a grade of high-speed steel commonly used for cold saw blades. It is a molybdenum (Mo) and tungsten (W) alloyed steel with high wear resistance and toughness. The addition of 5% molybdenum enhances the steel's hardness and cutting efficiency, making it ideal for high-performance saw blades.
