Cermet Cold Saw
Blade Calculator
Two ways in: enter your material size to find the right cermet-tipped blade, or pick your blade size to see its tooth options — for high-speed & CNC circular saws, in millimeters or inches.
These are cermet-tipped blades for high-speed & CNC circular saws — production cutting of solid steel, stainless, and tube. They run at far higher RPM and use different tooth counts than HSS cold saw blades, so don’t apply these numbers to an HSS blade. Running an HSS cold saw? Use the HSS Tooth Calculator. Not sure which machine you have? See CNC or Cold Saw — which do you have?

How to choose
Three quick rules for picking off the chart.
Match the size first
Find a blade whose range covers your material diameter. When your size sits near the middle of a range, that’s the most comfortable cut — we flag it as the best fit.
More teeth, finer finish
Higher tooth counts suit smaller solids and thin wall. Fewer teeth clear chips better and run cooler on larger diameters. Several options often overlap — pick by finish and feed.
Cermet runs hot and fast
Cermet tips hold an edge at the high RPM these saws run, giving clean, burr-light cuts on steel and stainless. Dial speed and feed to your machine and material — see the SFPM & RPM guide.
